Sasheer Zamata Talks About Becoming Agatha’s Last Girl All Along– Brit Commerce

Agatha all the time It came to an end this week, and while the series focused primarily on Agatha, Billy, and Rio, there was another key player: Sasheer Zamata’s potions expert Jen Kale. She reluctantly joins the anti-hero’s coven as they embark on the Witch’s Path that, if all goes as planned, will make everyone fulfill their deepest desires. And in Jen’s case, that means regaining the powers she lost a century ago.

In a spoiler-filled interview with ColliderZamata talked about the arc Jen goes through to reclaim her powers. In it, she talked about how she saw Jen and Agatha’s dynamic, which is largely based on morality: Jen is a “pretty upright person” who likes to have knowledge and use it to help others. Even though she lost that spark when the show begins, Zamata said that’s reason enough for the two witches to not have a good vibe despite their similar situations. “It’s more of a kind of personality mismatch than something that happened between them,” Zamata told Collider.[Jen’s] “A know-it-all who prides herself on being a do-gooder and healing and helping people might irritate Agatha, who doesn’t really help people.”

Still, power is power, and Jen would very much like to have hers back. When Agatha all the time All said and done, she ends the show having achieved her goal and, more importantly, alive. In the scene where Jen fulfills her dream, Zamata praised Kathryn Hahn and director Gandja Monteiro for letting it be her moment. “I have rarely been able to access that part of myself while acting and I felt very lucky. […] Being able to finally get your power after 100 years seems like a lot. It feels like you are rejoicing, but you are also very sad because you haven’t. [had it]like getting a friend back.”

Comic fans know that Jen eventually becomes Witch Woman and is the cousin of the original Ghost Rider Johnny Blaze. When asked about her return to the MCU, Zamata said she doesn’t know anything solid, but if Jen could “find a new coven, [or] Rededicate your life to healing people? I love to play [Jen] Very, very much, and I think people really love seeing her get what she came for. I would love to see it actually wear the power she regained.” And if it’s not Marvel, she said she’s open to doing basically anything, from doing more action to returning to horror and continuing her latest girl streak.

Agatha all the time is fully available on Disney+.
