Great to run. Solid handbrake. It folds quite small for a corridor. | Still quite large, especially compared to other strollers. Heavy too. |
The runners are large, but the Thule does a good job by not being also Great, or at least not as big as competition. The Thule Urban Glide 3, as well as its predecessor The Urban Glide 2, has a thin enough way to go through the divisors of the catwalk destined to discourage my local skaters, and folds a little more flat than other runners, so it is easier to pass in my entrance. It is a soft and easy to fold with one hand, although with 26 pounds it is too heavy to wear with your son on your other arm safely.
There are some changes in the new Thule Urban Glide 3 of the previous model. One is the handbrake, which is now less circular and, instead, is designed for an ergonomic cellar so that it is easier to use. Personally I preferred the previous version, but the new one is a bit simpler where to place the hand and pull the hand and works as well to help control its rate of descent. There is also a new and extended canopy to shade your little one better in their races, and it comes in a lot of fun colors similar to Thule’s brightness. Finally, there is a new built -in rest for children to place their feet instead of hanging. I really did not notice that the headpiece improved my son’s comfort while I was in this corridor, but that was when I was less than 2 years old, so it could make a greater difference for older children.
Thule also sells accessories for strollers that allow you to use this corridor with a baby, either with the Thule Consinet accessory or one of the various car seat adapters. There is also a pointable Cup holders ($ 25) and Water bottles cages ($ 30) You can buy separately to add the Urban Glide 3.
★ An alternative: He Bob Gear Wayfinder ($ 529) It is quite similar to Thule, but it folds a little larger, it is a few heavier pounds and remains higher than the Urban Glide 3, so it is a good option for the highest people. I found the height a bit uncomfortable, but I only have 5’4 “. It is also a bit cheaper than the Thule.
Cunning of the crib (sold separately), children’s car seat adapter (sold separately). Weight limit: 49 pounds.
