During a special designer showcase at Shanghai’s fashion week, Disney made a celebration of Toy history Designer Duds to commemorate the Pixar movie that turns 30 years old. Yes, 30 … we can’t believe it either. They are also surprisingly outside this world that hit the track inspired by vintage toys that appear in the film.
He Disney style account On Instagram he shared the showcase, offering a look at the pieces that made us go “Whoooooaaahhhhhhhhhh” many times. From elevated outfits inspired by cosplay to minimalist motifs and blatantly bold deconstructions, you must see how their beloved Pixar Pals have been reinvented.

The Buzz Lightyear looks are definitely a massacre in our IO9 eyes, while the western outfit comes out a bit. The one with the glass case and the Pixar Geanie logo is giving the Silicon Valley Al online toys, if it were a Bro Tech Bro toy fin. It is also fun to see the rest of the franchise get some love with pieces with Lotso, Forky and Key and Peele’s Ducky and Bunny Duo. Out of the outfits that are shown, I think I would like to rock that Lightyear meets Clueless Squis and pleated jacket.
