The state railway operator of Ukraine, UCRZALIZNYTSIA, said Monday that it was beaten by a large -scale cyber attack.
Cyberattack affected the sale of online tickets, even through mobile application, while trains continue to operate, according to The Railway Operator Declaration in its official telegram channel.
Daryna Antoniuk, journalist based in Ukraine, reported the interruption of The record From the kyiv Central Station, writing that the capital’s main train station was “unusually full on Monday morning, with dozens of people waiting in long lines to buy tickets to travel inside Ukraine and abroad.”
In his announcement, Ucrzaliznysia said (according to an britcommerce translation): “The enemy could not do the key: train trafficking is stable, they work clearly, without delays, and all traffic operational processes are configured in a backup format.”
“As a last resort, if you don’t have time to buy a ticket through the box office, go directly to the train,” the operator told customers.
