Jaguar’s strange rebranding continues with Type 00 electric car concept– BC

Previous leaks were accurate, with the Type 00 two-door coupe featuring a long hood that gives way to a low roof and a fastback rear profile that dispenses with any rear window. Jaguar creative director Gerry McGovern said in a presentation that “when Jaguar was at its best, it threw away the design rules and created the E-Type and the XJS…objects of desire.” This car is supposed to be another step in that direction.

There are many details, such as its 23-inch wheels, oval steering wheel, three brass bars that run through the cabin, butterfly doors and a stone pedestal that separates the seats. We also can’t miss the thin Lincoln Nautilus-like screen along the inside of its windshield that remains when the main interior screens are folded out of sight.

They’re all here as a design preview for the first next-generation production Jaguar on the way, a four-door electric GT due to be unveiled late next year.

Jaguar projects up to 430 miles of range and fast charging that can add up to 200 miles of range in just 15 minutes for the actual car. But for now, all we have to see is the sleek concept vehicle, unveiled in Miami Pink and London Blue at Miami Art Week, and a very standard look. invitation to register for more information.
