Just two weeks after its release, Tomb Raider: The Legend of Lara Croft You will be able to tell more of your hero’s story.
Netflix and Powerhouse Animation’s anime adaptation of the action-adventure series has been greenlit for a second season. The next episode of Lara’s (Haley Atwell) show will see her reunite with Sam Nishimura (Karen Fukuhara), her best friend from Survivor trilogy that appeared briefly in the first season. According to the Press releaseThe duo embark on a quest to recover a set of stolen African Orisha masks. In addition to discovering the power and “dark secrets” of the masks, Lara and Sam will face a “dangerous and enigmatic billionaire” who wants the mask for his own purposes.
Showrunner Tasha Huo explained that of legend The first season was about “Lara coming to terms with how her father dealt with grief” through isolation. For season two, we’ll see her build a stronger support system: “As we move forward in season two,” he teased, “Lara [will] going from being an isolated hero who just wants to do things on his own, a lone wolf, to realizing that ‘actually, I have a really great team behind me.’” Beyond Sam (who hasn’t had a full appearance in the games since Tomb Raider 2013), that team presumably plus Jonah, Camilla Roth and Zip, who appeared in the first season.
tomb Raider The first season was a pretty solid video game show that seemed to have a lot of fun jumping around the world and shaping Survivor Lara in the original and badass version of the previous games. If you haven’t seen it, give it a try, because Lara from Powerhouse is a complete An adrenaline junkie (in a good way), but also because it will be a while before we see more about the second season and the next main game.
