Adult Swim has not announced the exact release date for Rick and Morty season eight yet, but at today’s New York Comic Con panel for the much-loved animated sci-fi series, there was still some earring News for fans: Season 10 will not be the end of the series. Seasons 11 and 12, baby! Come on!

Speaking from the convention stage, co-creator Dan Harmon promised that means the show will last until at least 2029, though the entire panel (which included the cast) echoed this. Rick’s famous quote saying they hope it continues for “100 years.” Us do We know season eight will arrive sometime in 2025, and Adult Swim shared a tantalizing first look in the form of this animation. As you’ll see, Rick and Morty (voiced by Ian Cardoni and Harry Belden) encounter a cryogenic ship in deep space… and curiosity, greed (specifically Rick’s greed), and catastrophic chaos quickly ensue. The rest of the main cast includes Chris Parnell as Jerry, Sarah Chalke as Beth, and Spencer Grammer as Summer.

In a statement cited by DeadlineHarmon and fellow executive producer Scott Marder shared their excitement for more Rick and Morty to come.

“No one wants a universe without Rick and Morty. Fortunately, the list of places to go is still endless,” Harmon said. Echoing comments made on stage at NYCC, Marder added: “I couldn’t be more proud to have taken up the baton of a lifetime during Rick and MortyIt’s season four and it will take us to season 10. Going beyond that now is a gift I can’t wait to give our fans. Rick and Morty—One hundred years… forever!
