Over the years we’ve tried dozens of different lubricants and some of them are pretty good, if not exactly good. the best in some particular category. For them we have this section, our Honorable Mentions.
#LubeLife water-based lubricant for $10: I’ve been a fan of #LubeLife for a while now. It is a trusted brand with water-based lubricants thick enough for any type of sexual play. The company recently added a new product to its line of lubricants and it’s equal parts light and refreshing. It has the same texture that stays smooth and slippery longer than other brands and like all other lubes, it is one of the best deals out there. If you’re short on money but want a lube that makes you feel luxurious and pampered, this is the lube to get.
Dame Arousal Serum for $23: I’m not a big fan of warming or tingling lubes and I have yet to try one that makes me a true believer. But Dame’s exciting serum is getting closer. This is a warming and tingling water-based lubricant that uses peppermint oil, cinnamon leaf oil and ginger oil to provide extra sensation during sex. If you have sensitive skin, I wouldn’t use these products, but if you don’t and want to try a stimulating lubricant, this is the one I would recommend. Try it on a non-genital area first to make sure you know how your skin will react.
Ycosmetics Love Lip Lubricant for $29: This is an unusual lubricant. It provides silky, slippery lubrication with a nice medium-weight viscosity, but it has a few other tricks too. It is designed to hydrate your most intimate areas while providing lubrication, and it is such a good moisturizer that it also works as a lip moisturizing. Your upper lips this time, the ones on your face. Make sure you only use a drop, though, because if you keep going your lips will become very slippery, less in a sexy way and more in a “I just ate a plate of ribs” kind of way.
Coconu water-based lubricant for $27: This is a great water-based lubricant that provides long-lasting lubrication without leaving it sticky. In addition, it is made with coconut water, so it has a soft and pleasant fragrance.
Maude Shine Water-Based Lubricant for $25: This used to be our top pick. It offers a silky smooth texture, although it is thicker for a water-based lubricant. Thicker water-based lubricants tend to last longer between applications. Using the thumb test, this lube gives you a slippery but soft pad between your fingertips, which is a good indicator that it will keep things nice and slippery.
