Lucid Motors is changing to the CEO for the first time in almost six years. The company announced On Tuesday that Peter Rawlinson renounces the roles of the CEO and CTO that he has since before the company was public.
Lucid appointed its Operations Director Marc Winterhoff as his interim CEO. Rawlinson will serve as a “strategic technical advisor” for Turqi alnowaiser, who is president of the Board and senior executive of the Sovereign Fund of Saudi Arabia, Lucid majority owner.
The leadership change comes at a critical moment for Lucid Motors, who has just launched its seriously SUV at the end of last year.
